The short-circuit isolator 41ISL000 must be installed along the loop, at a maximum of every 30 addressed devices without an on-board isolator. It prevents communication between the devices and the control panel from being cut off in the event of a single short-circuit fault on the detection line. As soon as the short-circuit is removed the isolator automatically restores the continuity of the loop. The isolator comes in a plastic wall mounting box with the cable routing holes protected by rubber plugs. Approved to EN 54-17.
