The GS3 Multi-Technology Admin Reader is designed to ease the task of enrolling credentials into Stanley PAC Access security management software. The Desktop Administration Reader connects via a USB to the host administration or client PC, and the card numbers read directly into the Stanley PAC database when credentials are created.
In use, cardholders are simply and efficiently added by presenting a card or fob to the enrollment reader which reads the unique embedded code. The reader may also be used to easily identify a lost card and bring up the associated cardholder record.
In addition to the enrollment capability, an optional Line Driver is available. In situations when connection to an IP network is not convenient, the Line Driver that provides extended direct communications between the Host PC and the nearest convenient PAC 512 Two-Door Controller which can be located up to 1,000ft away, using 22AWG 4-conductor unshielded cable.
