It is an electro-magnetic security lock type Sherlock. The lock can be mounted on all types of doors; both single acting or swing through doors. Sherlock is the ideal lock for swing doors and monitored emergency exit doors. The lock can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. By combining magnetic and mechanical forces, the shear achieves high holding strengths, up to 1000 kg.
